Okay so, starting off, it's been a while since I posted a journal here and for those of you who follow me, I apologize as things have been extremely hectic for me. Okay so, you all know I took care of my Mother who was getting up in her years, right? I'm finally getting the courage to write something about this... She left us on January 27 of this year and we buried her on February 3. From what I've been able to piece together it was a severe infection that had advanced almost to the point of sepsis and when they started the high-power antibiotics on her, it caused a reaction that made her have a cardiac event. A heart attack basically. They have no idea how long she was down for as she wasn't on telemetry (hooked up to a heart monitor) which is what is reserved for patients with a history or symptoms of cardiac trouble. Okay, so first off, the good news. Mom and I just received our second dose of the Moderna vaccine. Hopefully this means that I can ramp up my job search and maybe even apply in person and attend interviews (with sufficient protection of course). I'll tell you though, I wear a mask of course but I also took to wearing a bandana and to be honest it kinda stuck on me. Even if we eventually do get back to whatever could be considered 'normal' this day and age, I think I will continue to wear a bandana. Now for the setback, we had some bad weather come through here today and I (rather foolishly) thought the worst was over and turned my PS4 back on to reboot it and the power went out AGAIN while it was checking over the system data. I think I found a workaround though, if I download the PS4 data version to a USB reformatted for exFAT I should (theoretically) be able to restore the system to working order and de-brick it.
